Name: Ralph
Door: TDM: Dominant

Canon: Detroit: Become Human
Canon Point: Post "Good Ending" where Ralph lives.

Age: Visually/Emotionally: late 20's; Actually: A 3-year-old WR600 android.
Appearance: one || two

History: Ralph was part of an order of WR600s purchased by the city of Detroit in the 2030's for maintenance of public parks. While working there a group of human delinquents take a liking to torturing him, and one afternoon attack him. He managed to escape after going deviant, but was badly damaged. He never returned, and ended up living in an abandoned house on the outskirts of Detroit.

After deviating he became obsessed with the notion of rA9, the first android to deviate, the one that would be the savior of all others. Even without knowing where the information came from he believed it, and spent his time alone in the abandoned house writing, cutting, or carving rA9 repeatedly over entire walls of the abandoned house in an obsessive manner. Occasionally he would lose himself in what he was doing.

When humans would come into his home, he'd hide, and wait for them to leave. Due to his previous experiences with people, he tended to avoid them when he could, but found Kara and Alice wandering around late one night. He threatened Alice with a knife, but later allowed them to spend the night. While in the house Kara discovered the body of a human that Ralph claimed to just have found him like that. He ended up helping Kara get away from Connor when he showed up to apprehend her and Alice despite his initial hostility toward them and the way he behaved when Alice refused to eat his cooking.

He ended up detained at the android camp with Kara, and was freed when Markus' revolution is mostly peaceful and very successful. As headcanon would have it, he refused to join the other androids and instead returned to the abandoned house much to the dismay of local law enforcement.

Personality: Ralph was originally programmed to garden and tend to green spaces, but following the attack that left him damaged and deviant he’s been unstable. He’s quick to anger, and when his temper flares he can become violent. His moods seem to change quickly in response to his circumstances.

Also he can be inconsistent because of it. His fear and anger lead him to behave a certain way, but he is damaged and naive in many ways which make him immediately apologetic and often irrationally optimistic. Like a switch that’s either on or off, he’s hot or cold, but still trying to figure out how to just be somewhere in between.

He is easily stressed, and avoidant of most human contact. If left to his own devices he becomes reclusive. His dislike and distrust of humans isn’t something he hides, but he is also not eager to be around large groups of androids. Which may be why he turned down the chance to join the larger android community in favor of staying by himself. While at the android camp he becomes overwhelmed and stressed by everything going on and being out of his comfort zone to the point where he could have been killed for it.

On the bright side he can be very caring, protective, and eager to please depending on the person and how he feels toward them. He wants to do the right thing despite not always having the control to do it. One of his main driving factors is desire to help people who might need it. When Kara and Alice spent the night in the abandoned house, he wanted to make them feel safe, and the following morning wanted to cook for Alice. He refers to them as being like a family: the mother, the father, and the little girl.

Powers and Abilities: He has vast knowledge of plants, gardening, and nature in general. As an android he doesn't need to breathe, eat, or engage in most human activities.

Inventory: A standard issue WR600 uniform. A utility knife.
